ARE OUR SERVICES RIGHT FOR YOU?
The problem with food waste encompasses a large number of industries across the whole supply chain.
Our focus is consumer plate waste that is generated outside households.

PUBS, CAFES AND RESTAURANT
Food waste is increasingly becoming a high priority in the sustainability agenda, following the big wave on single-use plastic. The value of UK wasted food (i.e. excluding inedible parts) is estimated at around £19 billion.
Taking steps towards preventing food waste as opposed to recycling, has various benefits, it reduces costs, it improves the efficiency of operations and can enhance your company reputation.
FILM SET CATERING
The film industry has already taken steps towards being more sustainable, starting with removing single-use plastic water bottles from productions, re-using and donating props, costumes and furniture. Some steps to tackle food waste have also been taken, for example by donating surplus food from catering to those in need. The Oscars and BAFTA instead, have taken note of the impact of red meat and opted for a plant-based menu. Although the initiative is there, preventing food from being wasted can help the industry to save money and reduce their environmental impact.

CORPORATE OFFICES
For many of us, a large portion of our days is spent at work - businesses and employees play an important part in raising awareness about food waste and can also set an example by changing office practices.
This area is often overlooked, although there is a lot of money that can be saved and environmental impacts that can be avoided in your office cafeteria, lunchroom, and catered events. Food waste is a global issue, but local and individual actions are a big contributor.
Changing behaviour at work will also translate to a change in behaviour at home.
